One thing that Matt Boss (Bank of America) fails to acknowledge however is our different beliefs/rules/attitudes to money. For instance, a large number of people connect the concept of &#039;budgeting&#039; with feelings of deprivation and being restricted. While logically they can see the sense of saving money for tomorrow, their actions/habits don&#039;t reflect that knowledge.
It&#039;s important we don&#039;t try to impose a &#039;one solution fits all&#039; as we raise the bar of personal financial management. There are different techniques for natural savers, spenders, scaredy-cats and &#039;sorted&#039; folk.
