There are literally hundreds of things your teen can do to earn money from the Internet. Teens are very tech savvy these day, so it’s a great fit and something most teens will enjoy doing. Not to mention the benefit of learning some business and marketing skills.

Blogging

Teens love to journal and blogging is basically an online journal. Does your teen have a favorite hobby? They can blog about it, become an affiliate marketer for their favorite products, and make some money that way. Of course it takes time to build up a blogging business, but most teens tend to have the patience and persistence to see something through, especially when it’s fun and something they love.

Selling items on eBay

Do you have stuff lying around your house that you’ve always thought about selling on eBay but have never gotten around to it? Give it to your teen to sell on eBay and let them keep the money from the sell. Of course they have to handle the packing and shipping aspect, as well as other marketing skills in order to make a sell.

Sell hand made crafts on Etsy

Etsy is an online store for selling hand made crafts for everything from jewelry to clothing and everything in between. Does your teen make hemp bracelets or string bracelets? Have them open an Etsy shop and start selling their unique works of art.

Writing for Pay

Do you have a teen that is an excellent writer? They could start their own freelance writing business or article marketing. Content is king, and business owners are always looking for good content for their sites. Have your teen contact the owner of their favorite website to see if they need any articles written.
