I respect the reasons for writing this article but some parts are a little misleading. "female organs may start to appear more masculine than feminine" only if the person does not do proper PCT, however if you are checking out your daughters clitoris I'm going to have to say other red flags would come up in my mind. Also a males testicles will shrink until PCT but return to normal size once natural testosterone production is regained assuming proper PCT. The testicles will not atrophy noticeably if they use hCG while on cycle.

A rigid diet plan is not a sign of steroid use, it is a sign of any dedicated athlete.

I do give you kudos for saying "already existing mental disorders" as many people misunderstand and believe steroids cause suicidal tendencies, no research has ever conclusively shown such.

Steroids should not be taken by teens due to a mental maturity issue and often lack of research IMO. The best way to know if they are using them is to keep an eye on their finances, steroid cycles are not cheap and such would be rather obvious, this is alot less intrusive and easier than some of the suggestions in this article.

We are a well-known production company that produces television movies among many other types of productions. We are looking for a true story about a teenage girl who struggled with steroid use for body image purposes. We have a long history of producing critically acclaimed programs, often based on true stories such as these, with a determination to present the material in a dignified and honest manner. If you or someone you know fits into this need, please contact us at steroidsstory@gmail.com. If we move forward in developing a movie based on the story, the life rights person can be compensated, and we can change names to protect anonymity.

Thanks very much.

I work at the Partnership for a Drug-Free America and would like to share our new website with your readers … www.timetotalk.org. It's a great resource for tools and tips to help parents and caregivers talk to their kids about the risks of drugs and alcohol. Our research shows that kids who consistently learn a lot about the risks of drugs from their parents are up to 50% less likely to use than those who do not. You are the most important person in your child's life. You can make a profound impact on their health decisions.
